Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Filling
- Peel and slice apples. Toss with cherries and add to your baking dish.
Topping
- In a large mixing bowl, cut the butter, flour and sugar together using a pastry cutter (or with a fork and butter knife or two butter knives) until the butter is pea sized.
- Add the oats and almonds and mix well.
- Pour the topping mixture evenly over the apples and cherries.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is golden and the apples are bubbling.
