So as we are heading into the Valentine season, I thought I would share a recipe that I developed during the Christmas baking season. This fudge is the perfect Christmas or Valentine treat because it’s got those red cherries in it. Black Forest Fudge is the perfect combination of chocolate and cherry and just sweet for your Valentine.

No Fail Black Forest Fudge
This is a quick no fail fudge recipe. Start by melting chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk and a pinch of salt at 50% power in the microwave. Or you can melt the chocolate in a double boiler, but the microwave is so much easier.
Meanwhile, whir some cherries in the food processor to create small chunks. This recipe uses glace cherries (those candied cherries you would use for fruit cake), and a little grenadine (cherry syrup) and that is pretty much it. Just stir the cherries and grenadine in once the chocolate has melted.
Spread it all in an 8 x 8 pan which has been lined with parchment paper and chill for a few hours. Cut and serve. YESSSSSSSSS.
Holiday Dessert or Everyday Tread
This Black Forest Fudge is a perfect little dessert for Christmas or Valentine’s Day or really any time you want a delicious treat. And it’s EASY. So be sure to whip up a batch today and share it with your Valentine any day of the week.
