As I surf around the interwebs, I see a lot of people looking for Whole30 Breakfast that does not include eggs. This is not that kind of post because I love eggs. We eat them pretty nearly everyday. So this is a collection of Whole30 Breakfast recipes to give your egg-loving self some variety. Although, that being said, there are a few non-egg recipes too! Really what I am looking for is breakfast under 10 minutes for weekdays.

Hard Boiled Eggs
Make hard boiled eggs part of your weekend meal prep. These are the perfect grab and go for weekday mornings when you don’t have time to cook something more involved like most of my other egg recommendations below.
Variation 1: Just make and take them.
Eat them hot or cold. I like to eat them cold and top them with yellow mustard. It’s kind of like a deviled egg without all the work.
Variation 2: Hard Boiled Eggs with Avocado and Everything Seasoning
This is one of my go-to breakfast when I need something fast during Whole30. It helps to have hard boiled eggs already on hand. I peel two and then dice them. I add half or a whole avocado, also diced. Top with Everything Bagel Seasoning and enjoy. Super easy and tasty.
Variation 3: Breakfast Salad
Melissa Urban Hartwig talks about how we should get the notion of breakfast food out of our minds and think about it as meal one. A breakfast salad of spinach, hard boiled eggs and a meat on hand (crumbled bacon or grilled meat, pictured is grilled venison coated in Everything Seasoning) is a great and filling breakfast.
Whole30 Breakfast Hash
Variation 1: We make two delicious breakfast hashes around here. The first is Butternut Squash and Prosciutto Hash is a delicious sweet and salty breakfast. Serve it with or without eggs. Get the recipe here.
Variation 2: Clean Out the Fridge Hash is one of our favorite ways to use up leftovers. Anything you have in the fridge is a go. Just be sure to use compliant hash browns, or make your own shredded potatoes. Get more specifics in our post here.
Breakfast Egg Bakes
A breakfast egg bake is great because you can make it on the weekend when you have time and then reheat single servings throughout the week.
Variation 1: Whole30 Western Quiche is the ham (sub in prosciutto), peppers and onions of a western omelet baked in a shredded potato crust. Get the recipe here.
Variation 2: Perhaps you are looking for something crustless. How about Spinach, Artichoke and Sausage Egg Bake. We used compliant venison sausage. You can use any compliant sausage.
Eggs and …
Variation 1: Yolky Fried Eggs with Everything Seasoning. Perhaps you have noticed that I am a bit of a fan of Everything Seasoning. (Our recipe is here.) It seems just about perfect for almost any savory thing you can think of. Fried eggs are no exception. And my trick to a perfect fried egg? Melted ghee in a ceramic frying pan. Heat the ghee on medium high heat. Crack the desired number of eggs. Cover and set the timer for two minutes. The cover helps steam and cook the tops of the eggs so that you get crispy edges (from the ghee and higher heat) with tops that are not runny. You may have to play with the time some depending on your stove and whether you are using gas or electric. (We have an electric stove.)
Variation 2: Whatch’ Got Omelet which in truth is really a scramble. This is another great way to use leftovers. We love all combinations of meat and veggies with this one. Check out the post here.
Variation 3: Scramble eggs wrapped in prosciutto or compliant deli ham. It’s kind of like a breakfast wrap, but different. Just scramble some eggs and then layer two slices of prosciutto or ham so that they overlap but also extend the length. Then top with eggs and roll. It’s not really finger food. We eat them with forks (and knives).
Homemade Breakfast Sausage
Variation 1: Pork and Apple Breakfast Sausage is sweet (from the apples), a little salty and delicious alone or served with eggs. It would also be great in a Breakfast Salad (see above). For a recipe for our Pork Apple Breakfast sausage, you can see our recipe here.
Whole30 Breakfast
After our first Whole30 (read about that here), we made a few changes that really stuck. And I think the most important one that came out of it was ditching the breakfast carbs. We still occasionally indulge in a bagel and cream cheese, but mostly we eat from the selection above.
If you came here looking for suggestions on Whole30 Breakfast that are not eggs, my apologies, unfortunately, you came to the wrong place, but if you came here looking for seriously delicious Whole Food Breakfast suggestions then we hope that you have found something that you can make tomorrow morning!
