Today is day 21 of the 25 Days of Christmas Activities to do with Your Family. This time of year, every kid is looking forward to having a conversation with the big guy. Of course, I’m talking about going to see Santa.
Going to See Santa
We don’t have a specific tradition related to how we go see Santa. Some years we go to the mall, some years we have breakfast with Santa and some years we stumble upon him in a gazebo in the center of a town we are visiting.
This year, we will be see Santa tomorrow at the Genesee Country Village at the Yuletide in the Village Open House. GCV is our local historic village that celebrates the architecture and way of life in our area in years past. Each year they have a Breakfast with St. Nick the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We went last year and it was wonderful. However, this year, we were busy with family, so we are going to see St. Nick while we also learn about the holiday preparations and decorations in days of yore.
No Matter how we see Santa, it’s always an enjoyable experience. The kids love getting to talk to Santa and tell him what they hope he will bring. And Santa is always kind and generous.
So this Christmas season, make a plan to see Santa
